TARGETED TEXT ADVERTISING
TxtAds plans campaigns for brands and agencies around a defined audience. The message, the suppression rules, and the readout all follow from who is on the file.
Audience first
Segment, consent basis, and exclusions are decided before copy.
One offer, one group
Creative is written for that group, not sprayed at a category.
A number you can read
Delivery, replies, and opt-outs are reported against the segment you approved.
Targeting here means choosing people, not buying a wider net. Brands bring the relationship. We shape the file and keep the wrong people off it.
01
A campaign starts with who should see it: existing customers, people who opted in, a first-party list, or another segment you already have a permissible reason to reach. Geography, product, and recency narrow that group. Broad lists are not the product.
02
We plan around audiences that asked to hear from the brand, already have a relationship with it, or otherwise sit on a path the advertiser can defend. If that basis is missing, the segment does not ship.
03
Opt-outs, recent recipients, and people who should never see the offer come off the file before anything is queued. Frequency caps keep a good audience from being worn out.
SAMPLE · LOYALTY SEGMENT
Your usual order is back in stock on Main St. this week. Reply YES for a hold until Friday, or STOP to opt out.
Written for people who already buy this product. A different segment gets different words.
The offer, the length, and the ask change with the audience. A lapsed customer, a recent buyer, and a partner list do not share one script. You approve the pairing, not a template dropped onto every number you have.
Brands and agencies use the same workflow: define the group, write to that group, measure that group.
01
Brief
Offer, audience definition, and what a reply is supposed to do.
02
Match
Copy and timing are written for that segment, not a generic blast.
03
Approve
You sign the audience and the words together.
04
Send
Approved messages go to the file you signed, with suppression still applied.
Reporting stays on the audience you approved. We look at whether the message arrived, whether people replied, and whether they opted out. The next file gets tighter from those three, not from a vanity reach number.
Delivered
How many approved recipients actually received the text.
Replied
How many did the thing the creative asked for.
Opted out
How many left, so the next send starts without them.
Share the audience and the offer. We will say whether it fits a targeted text program and what we would need before a first send.
